This is my re-created version of Disney's Pixar Soul movie. I was tasked to redesign using the design principles and visual elements. by applying these principles, it gives me a better idea of how each arrangement in every poster is significant to make them visually effective. this is just a showcase of abilities in visual art.

This is my re-created version of CLAsh of clans mobile game trailer. this was my first time actually doing post-production work for a game trailer. I was tasked to redesign the muted animation (trailer) by using sfx from a provided sfx library by my school. I had to ensure that i did not miss any sounds as it is an animation which makes it easier for me to mess up. However, I felt that I did pretty well considering it was my first time doing something like this since I'm more of the music type of person. However, editing, designing, and mixing for an immersive experience is very interesting too.

Covers/songs

That's me in the long hair! The structure of this cover was arranged by me and credits to Zamir (Guitarist) and Ilyas (Drums & Bass) that they came out by themselves. I mixed every audio and ensure that everything is arranged properly in Logic Pro X so that the mix won't sound unusual. For the vocals, I was inspired by the vocalist of Hujan himself. Using the distortion effect. However, I felt that it might sound too piercing for the audience even if they find it nice. This would only make me want to dive in deeper in mixing vocals better for the audience. The video was also edited by myself using Adobe Premier Pro. I just synced everything and make sure they are arranged properly as well with a bit of variations in the video to spice things up.

Do Over (Instrumental)The Doowies

oh, mexico - Jeremy Zucker (Cover by Izzat Hafiy)Izzat Hafiy

Do Over, is one of the best songs that I wrote. I have plenty of other songs but I only recorded this because of how my bandmates and I find the piece more exciting than the others. Again, I mixed the whole song and I was proud of myself despite being a beginner.

oh, mexico (cover) is a much more experimental cover because I included ambient and noise into the cover. It makes the song much more thicker but not ruining the delicacy of the guitar and the vocals which maintains the mellow characteristic of the song. I was proud despite being a beginner in recording this particular genre.

Bila Aku Sudah Tiada is a song that meant a lot to me as it reminds me of late grandma that passed away in early January 2019. I knew after I listened to that song I had to make a cover of it. I programmed the drums and tried my best to transcript using my listening skills and had my bandmates come to my house and track their guitars, bass. I mixed everything and eventually became one nice cover that I was super proud of.

Songs like, Mean it, you!, is more experimental which I never thought of doing. I was really no familiar with that type of music because I spent most of my lifetime listening to band type of set up and not electric music type. After listening to them, I appreciate them better because I dove in deeper and got to know that making electronic music is extreely hard and I respected the hardwork put by electronic musicians even more. I fell in love with th sounds of ambient, samples, loops, lo-fi drums and software type of instruments which made me cover these songs. There are more but I personally feel that these are the best ones.

Finally, Traitor. Covered by my sister. I only mixed her vocals while credits piano to, www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjZWRIIN7m4. I proud that I could mix vocals because I tried mixing mine but I think that I am not confident and mixing professional vocals of my own because it does not sound in my opinion that is why most of my covers are instrumental. However, you can follow me on my instagram @mdizzathafiy . I post a lot of singing videos there!

More covers in this link just incase if there's any problems playing the tracks above as the size too big for me to put them here. Description in each audios are the same explaining my thought process on the respective tracks. Thank you and enjoy!
